Hi, this channel deals with just air gunning. Currently, I exclusively use high-quality British made air rifles like Daystate and Air Arms for my reviews/hunting videos.
These videos also cover air rifle accessories and general information that is pertinent to air rifle shooters. Thanks for watching my humble channel, I do not advertise and am in no way sponsored to do this. I am simply an air rifle aficionado.

If lubed Pellets made a difference, the marketing department of every pellet manufacture would be selling cans of Lubed Pellets. *This is all 🐂💩. You Millennials overthink everything!*
*Really Tinkerbell? Do you Really need Blue Nitrile Millennial Hand Condoms? You put Lead Pellets in your coffee pot! What an Idiot!*
I normally let mine sit for about 10 minutes in extremely hot soapy water and then shake them up a little more and I’m truly careful about pouring them in the strainer because you can damage the skirts 177 pellets are very small fragile and lite…I also lubricant them
You cant damage the skirts by shakingf any more than putting the tin in a car and driving somewhere. Overthinking this way too much for a high school education
@@UncleFjester well we shoot competition and the skirt are very fragile…But u do u and keep shooting inaccurately 😂
Would this work on rabbits
I have one of the American version and you can shoot lollipop sticks pointing at you the back of the lollipop stick from over 150 to 200 yards playing cards straight at you
I recently purchased h&n slug hp pellets in different weights. And they are also covered with a kind of dry graphite lubricant!, usually I lubricate with napier, or dry pellet lubricants like LT1 or PL1 or even kolter speed shot. But with h&n I'm hesitant, if the manufacturer chose this lubricant it must be good, right?
I think the ranging formula is easier this way: {[(Height in inches) / 36 (inches in a yard)] x 1000} / (measurement in mils) = (range in yards) Example using that 72” target: [(72 / 36) x 1000] / 5 = 400
Would compressed air not work?
The thigh and legs. There still good meat on it.
Good video I do it a similar way soapy hot water dry then a little Ballistol it works great for cleaning your barrel not the soap the Ballistol just to be clear for those who might get all excited and say are you crazy soap in your barrel lol so just wash the tin thats what I do plus I know which pellets I'm opening
Excellent video and information .
Balistol is the best
Proper pronunciation of 'process' is prah-cess, not PRO-cess
1:08 ... there you can see all the drawbacks and retardedness of the imperial measurment system. Who will calculate that on the field? Whereas in SI units: Target height 1.8 m, 5 mils ->>> 18 / 5 = 3.6 (360m) Or easier (because dividing by 5 is more brain consuming, instead of dividing by 5, rather divide it by 10 and then multply by 2), i.e. 18/10 = 1.8 ... x 2 = 3.6 = 360 m Second example: 18 / 4 = (18 /2 = 9 /2 = 4.5) = 450 m Even if you take a small man figure: 17 dm /2 = 8.5 /2 = 4.2 = 420 m Third example (30" diameter): 3.6 dm /2 = 1.9 + 10% = 2.1 = 210m (even though 3rd example is kind of pointless, because in the field you will never measure a wheel precisely to 1.8 mils with a 1-MIL scale, or even assume the diameter properly, and on top of that, with small objects you get big errors, it is better to mesure something big) It takes 2 seconds to compute in the head. Whereas inches, yards, mils #1 you wont be able to compute it in the head (you have a ton of conversion ratios in between) #2 you need a paper or smartphone #3 you cannot do it fast (in 2 secs) #4 even when you finish, you will make 3 mistakes in the process and then you will miss the shot because distance will be wrong ================ As for dividing in your head, you only need to know how to divide by 2, 3 and 10 X / 1.5 == X/3 * 2 ... example 7/1.5 = 7/3 = 2 1/3 * 2 = 4 2/3 = 4.6 X / 2 == X / 2 X / 2.5 = X / 10 * 4 ... example 7 / 2.5 = 7 / 10 = 0.7 * 4 = 2.8 X / 3 == X / 3 X / 3.5 ==~ X / 10 * 3 ... example 7 / 3.5 = 7/10 * 3 = 0.7 * 3 = 2.1 (approx, I actually divided by 3.33, actual result is 2, here we made a 5% mistake) X / 4 = X /2 /2 ... example 7 / 4 = 7/2 = 3.5 / 2 = 1.75 X / 5 = X /10 * 2 ... example 8.2 / 5 = 8.2 / 10 * 2 = 0.82 * 2 = 1.64 X / 6 = X /3 /2 X / 7 ..... actually you need to know how to divide by 7 :D ... example 18 / 7 = 14 / 7 + 4 / 7 = 2 + 4/7 ... and 4/7 is close to 0.5 ... so you your head you could come to result 2.5 (actually it is 2.57, which is like 3% error, irrelevant) X / 8 = X /2 /2 /2 X / 9 = X /3 /3 And in cases where you have to divide by say 3.8 ... just go first to the closest whole number. Difference between 3.8 and 4.0 is 5% ... so if you instead of dividing by 3.8, you divide first by 4, you then need to compensate result by those additional 5%. Because by dividing by 4 you actually get result that is smaller than it should be, you then need to compensate that semi-result with +5% ... example 19 / 3.8 = 19 / 4 = 4.75 (because 16/4 = 4 and remeinder of 3/4 is 0.75). Then correct the 4.75 result up by 5% (10% would be 0.475, 5% is half of that, so approx 0.24). Final result is 4.75 + 0.24 = 4.99. Actual result is 5 (so we made 1% error doing it in the head). Divide by 3.8 ... instead divide by 4 and add 5% to the result (because the reminding 0.2 out of 4.0 (or 2 out of 40) is a one twentieth or 5%) Divide by 3.6 ... instead divide by 4 and add 10% to the result (because the reminding 0.4 out of 4.0 is a tenth or 10%) Divide by 3.4 ... instead divide by 4 and add 15% to the result In case of 3.4 and 3.6 you just just round it to 3.5 in both cases, and then just divide by 4 and add 1/8 to the result (because the reminding 0.5 out of 4.0 is an eighth) In case of 3.3, just divide by 3 and subtract 10% of the final result and so on ...
Cleaning a barrel is only needed , if its had oil put down it. A layer of lead is fine.
This may be a dumb question, but what magnification would your scope need to be to match the numbers on the chart you were using. Thanks.
@@MrSpiker357 Thanks
👏👏👏👏
What about when you zoom your scope .
118-SOLENOID SPACER O RING and 111 URETHANE-PISTON O RING...where do these fit in a daystate
Thanks tough guy!
That's not a sive, that's a strainer even in English. Lol
Can I ask, My airwolf has a caron bottle fitted but i have noticed that at furthest end of the bottle away from the trigger the bottle almost touches the barrel. Is there away to align these so there parallel?
I knew cleaning pallets before shooting will get you more accurate shots
Thank you!
Shot less than 100 rounds on my daystate .22 renegade and it started leaking. No place to fill a tank here and while I don’t mind using the pump, not from 0 every time I shoot. When I googled daystate pcp leaking there were hundreds of threads on message boards about leaky daystates in all the models. Shoulda never got rid of my daisy 880! Cost about $1100 less and worked better >.<
her seferinde kullandığınız temizleme bezinin en üsttekini alta alıp silseniz sıze 4 temizleme yapar her seferinde 4 bez kullanmanıza gerek olmaz.
those are spruce grouse
Hi Are you selling some of those pellcan cases please?
Looks like a spruce grouse. Nasty shit!
Just use the guage on the fill tank.?
Step 1: Don’t clean them
Good video
I'm on android and if memory serves me didnt see 25gr kings, or Hawke 10x50x60 reticle
Thank you.
Thought it was a review on the Airwolf?
It would be a lot easier to explain in metric since 1 milliradian at 100 m is 10 cm. Yours 5'6" person is about 1,7 m. Simple calculations in head, not like those random numbers imperial system produces in conversions.
... absolutely spot on.
No longer available but AOA appear to be selling the smallest size under their own brand name.
thanks so much
I used heat shrink tubing about 4” and it works great, took a small wood dowel 4” long and drilled a small hole for the weed wicker line and crimped a 1/8 aluminum feral on both sides of the dowel which works like a recoil starter handle works like a champ!!
Good idea!
I’m from uk 🇬🇧.I got a Pulsar .177 My good old mk4is in .177 My airwolf tatical in .177 And a huntsman classic in .177 And a airarms s410 TDR IN .177 all sub 12ftlb .and we carnt shoot as far as you but we have to stalk n get places ment of shot right 🍻😎👍
ChairGuns database of pellets and slugs is terrible. Has all the one that no one ever uses. Missing all the ones everyone uses lol.
What Isa chocked barrel?
I used Ballistol. It stinks, but it works!
That's all good but you use straw so it doesnt hang up but still the patch still has to go through outside straw. Gamo mag 177
Complete waste of time!
Mil dots are “near and dear” to your heart? 😂
I have trouble understanding what you are showing here. Hmmm : I understood 32 "x 27.77 = 888.64 / 5.5 MIL = 161.57 yards
Nice Job! Thanks
Total newbie here (to mil dots, rifle scopes , shooting rifles) so please, be kind. What is the significance of determining my range from my target? How can that info help in my shooting/aiming? BDC? Dope card? Holdover? Thank you for being considerate.
Waste of money…I can use other things…
